Royal Corps of Signals Rugby Football Union

Welcome to the
Royal Corps of Signals Mens Rugby Union.
As the Corps prepares for its third season since gaining promotion back into Merit Table 1 it continues to face significant issues with increasing operational commitments and the impending deployment of one of our main Regiments. The Corps Championship has grown in strength and quality and a young team are steadily rising to the challenges that this level brings. With strong representation at the junior Army levels, the corner stone of future success lies with the players commitment in joining civilian sides in order to ensure that they have the maximum playing time and conditioning away from the limited season which the Corps Merit Table provides. We continue to look to build for the future by developing our relationship with organisations such as Leeds Carnegie and by actively seeking sponsors.
Organisationally there have been changes to the Committee and the structure of the Club in order to keep pace with the ever changing environment within the Corps Merit Table and the wider Army. We will be looking to strengthen our links with Germany based players over the coming months and we are seeking additional Committee members in order to boost our success over the coming seasons. We have secured the services of one of our Corps Veterans, in the guise of Charlie Kama, as the head coach for next season. Charlie has agreed to coach us for next season in addition to his commitments with British Army Germany.
